A Few Of My Favorite Things

(Since I’ve Been Too Busy to Write, I’ll Let a Bunch of Pictures Do the Talking)

Spring Mornings – although if this weather doesn’t level out I may have to get a new favorite season.

The view from my grandparents’ place. They live on Mole Hill, and while I often say my Augusta County is prettier than Rockingham, this view is hard to beat. (It’s way better in real life.) It reminds me of the verse in Psalms – my favorite book of the Bible- that says: “I will lift mine eyes unto the hills…”

Sunsets like this…

My small farm girl… always on the go. Always fully in the moment. Always my wild but sweet baby girl.

This boy… My heart’s been stolen.

Borrowing big sister’s blanket😂

Seeing other children interacting with ours…

👇🏻 This little guy is in the care of my friend Cynthia and her husband Nick. We don’t know what all God has planned for him, but we know that he is a dear and dearly loved little boy.

Tea parties… doesn’t take much, a few teddy grahams and ritz crackers, and she was delighted.

Seeing her learn to love books. Especially my favorites from growing up…

Another favorite of mine, is this stage of big words that Anna Grace is going through. She is mastering correct usage of words like “conversation,” “delicious,” “amazing,” etc. It makes me smile.

And last but surely not least, this man.

Seven years and two days ago, he asked me to be his girlfriend. A year later (plus a few months) we were married. I don’t know what I’d do without him. I can see that it was God who caused our paths to cross, and I’m so thankful that not only did they cross, they merged into one.

~I know you’re not all about the mushy stuff, Hon, so I will just say thank you for choosing me, and thank you for your loyalty, leadership, and love. ~

Have a good week!

  2. First of all, that first picture is really cool! And it’s so great that you have all that space for the kiddos to go on adventures! The tea party is sweet – and you’re right it doesn’t take much! Kids love the thought and the imagination!
